Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the winners of the latest creative contest! The theme was Super[h]Uman Farmers, a nod to the newest defi product on Harvest.Finance — fCASH.
We had a load of great entries —artwork, animations, memes, poetry, articles — even Professor X would have trouble picking 10 winners from this one.
But without further ado, the heroic efforts are presented below.
1st Place — Stas Svetlov
2nd Place — Surf Tranquille
3rd Place — Farzin
To celebrate the latest collaboration between UMA + Harvest — the launch of fCASH — we are kicking off a little creativity contest for defi fans to participate in.
The theme is Super[h]UMAn Farmers. Think farmers with amazing superpowers, channeling the power of Ethereum to generate bounteous yields in the fields of defi.
We’d love to see what you come up with for this! It could be art, craft, meme, or haiku … use your imagination and get creative! Just make sure you stick to the theme, and reference Harvest / UMA / their collaborative efforts in some way.
It was a while since our last contest, but our humble farmers’ creative impulses had not been blunted at all by the long winter months. With the onset of spring, their talent can blossom once more…
The winners are below.
Details on how to claim your prize at the bottom.
1st Place: Moonrockets
2nd Place: AndyZhNing
👨🌾Attention Farmers: It’s been a while since our last iteration of the creativity contest and we have certainly missed your awesome submissions! The Christmas edition brought us beautiful carvings, catchy songs, benevolent charity work and many other amazing entries.
🌼Spring has just begun and we thought it would be fitting for this to be the theme of our next creativity competition! Spring is a time where farmers get busy, sowing their precious crops and waiting for bountiful harvests. Luckily at Harvest, the #Hardwork is done for you. Sit back and relax whilst the highest yields are being farmed. …
In order to help spread the word about Harvest Finance and the latest developments in the fields of defi, we asked our humble farmers to fire up their meme machines (and indeed any other creative ideas they have).
It was hard to a choose a winner, so we let the community in the Discord server cast votes for their favorites. The results are below.

Over the last few weeks the community of humble farmers has produced a few nice looking videos and infographics that help explain what Harvest Finance is all about (see Winners of Part 1).
But now we want to share this knowledge, and will be awarding prizes for the best Twitter marketers and shillanthropists. So you have to be able to consistently and effectively push the narrative of Harvest Finance being the best yield aggregator and draw attention to its key value propositions.
How can you do this? Well, this is really up to you — any strategy goes — but…
We asked our humble farmers to explain some of the finer points of harvesting yields in the fields of defi. As usual, they happily obliged.
There were 2 categories for producing materials to help with marketing and general education around Harvest)— Infographics and Video.
Without further ado, here are the best submissions:
Yield farming has exploded in popularity over the last few months, but despite this, it’s still a relatively small niche in the wider cryptosphere. The concepts and processes that enable high APYs are complex and murky, so it’s not always easy for newcomers (or even old-hands) to understand what’s going on.
To help with our goal of making yield farming easy and accessible, we are asking our community to come up with a range of marketing materials that will help explain in a clear and concise manner how Harvest Finance works.
We value creativity, clarity and quality!
Things we are…
The quantity and quality of submissions have certainly increased over the past few iterations of the contest. This time around, we had delicious looking cakes, clever digital art, cute dolls, benevolent charity work, catchy songs and many other amazing entries. Judging had never been so difficult and the team struggled to pick only 50 winners out of the hundreds of submissions. Congratulations to all who scooped some $FARM. For those of you that didn’t win this round, rejoice, for there is a round 4!
Before we get to round 4’s details, we’d like to share some insights on how submissions…
Something a bit different, because it’s been a while!
Recently I took a trip to the wildly under-rated city of Kyiv, Ukraine. I’ll get around to writing about why Ukraine makes sense for outsourcing blockchain dev soon enough, but for now, here are some snapshots of a beautiful place, with friendly people, and a fascinating vibe.
